Headteacher's Vision Statement
Mrs. Margaret Dudley

Oulder Hill Community School and Language College is committed to learning for all - students, staff and learners from the community - to enable those who learn with us to achieve to the best of their ability.  Our aim is to become a true community school, rather than just a school in the community, which functions as:

        • A centre of excellence for learning for all students who will participate fully in a curriculum which prepares them for adult and working life.
        • A centre of excellence for learning for staff, parents and the community.
        • A user-friendly access point for individuals in the community interested in “Life-long Learning."
Our learning culture, underpinned by an ethos of caring and support, places great emphasis on “student voice” and the rights and responsibilities involved.  We also encourage students to participate fully in the wide range of extra curricular activities on offer, as we believe these enhance and develop personal, interpersonal skills, competencies, and confidence, crucial attributes in meeting the demands of today’s society.

We are proud that our school provides the highest quality learning opportunities, and fortunate that this can be delivered in “state of the art” facilities.  We believe that our curriculum, coupled with personalised approaches to learning and guidance, enables students to move smoothly and successfully into the world of further and higher education, training, employment and adult life.
